- Molecular Characterization
This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 13.5 kDa. The protein migrates as 18-22 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

>90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Human SECTM1, His Tag on SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) condition. The gel was stained overnight with Coomassie Blue. The purity of the protein is greater than 90%.
- BackgroundSecreted and transmembrane protein 1 (SECTM1) is also known as Protein K-12, which is belongs to the SECTM family, which is Inducted by IFNG/IFN-gamma (at protein level). SECTM1 is detected at the highest levels in peripheral blood leukocytes and breast cancer cell lines. SECTM1 may be involved in thymocyte signaling.
