- SynonymSCARB2,CD36L2,LIMP2,LIMPII
- SourceHuman SCARB2, Fc Tag (SC2-H5250) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Arg 27 - Thr 432 (Accession # AAH21892).Predicted N-terminus: Arg 27Request for sequence
- Molecular Characterization
This protein carries a human IgG1 Fc tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 72.6 kDa. The protein migrates as 90-115 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
- EndotoxinLess than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method.
- Purity
>95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
- Formulation
Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in 50 mM Tris, 100 mM Glycine, pH7.5. Normally trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

- Storage
For long term storage, the product should be stored at lyophilized state at -20°C or lower.
Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
This product is stable after storage at:
- -20°C to -70°C for 12 months in lyophilized state;
- -70°C for 3 months under sterile conditions after reconstitution.

Human SCARB2, Fc Tag on SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) condition. The gel was stained overnight with Coomassie Blue. The purity of the protein is greater than 95%.
- BackgroundScavenger receptor class B member 2 (SCARB2) is also known as Lysosome membrane protein 2 (LIMP2), 85 kDa lysosomal membrane sialoglycoprotein (LGP85), CD36 antigen-like 2 (CD36L2, LIMP2), which belongs to the CD36 family. SCARB2 acts as a lysosomal receptor for glucosylceramidase (GBA) targeting.
